Marketing
The Marketing Department of Rives, Leavell & Co. is critical to our
success in serving client needs for educational and beneficial information
regarding our services and investment offerings. It is composed of two
separate but cooperative divisions.
The Loan Origination division provides marketing support for the communication
of our services to churches that may need to borrow funds for capital
projects. These projects could range from new construction to land acquisition.
This division of our marketing department maintains a database of over
18,000 churches with projects pending and publishes a quarterly containing practical and profitable information regarding
church capital projects and financing alternatives.
The Retail Marketing division provides marketing support for the sale
of church bonds to persons in both the church’s local community
and nationally to the RLC retail client base of approximately 6,000 investors.
This division of the marketing department produces such materials as
bulletin inserts and announcements, newspaper and magazine advertising,
customized brochures for each church, email offering announcements, and
internet based information. This division also provides retail investor
information regarding RLC bond holdings including maturity and call notices
and a quarterly Portfolio Summary of church bond holdings. A is published on a semi-annual basis and distributed to clients
and potential investors. This publication offers helpful information
regarding fixed income investments, diversification, socially responsible
investing and current bond offerings.
